MEXICANA and American Airlines Agree...
Mexico's second-largest airline, said it would sign a code-share agreement with American Airlines in April that will include more than 500 roundtrip flights each week between the U.S. and Mexico. It will allow American's passengers to fly to 21 new cities in Mexico, including Merida and Oaxaca. The agreement allows members of each airline's frequent-flyer programs to accrue miles on either airline. The partnership comes two months after Mexicana terminated its code-share agreement with United.

Mexico City recently completed a three-month "Tourist Safety" program, which includes 400 police officers now on horseback in the capitals historic, and tourism districts! The ongoing program includes English lessons and educational tours of tourist spots.
