MAKING MOTIVATION STICK Sure, anybody can toss cash and other incentives at employees in the name of motivation. And it may work? But here are some ways to make a successful incentive program stick!
- Open the employee's eyes - Too many sellers assume their territory is the limit. Think outside the geographic lines by expanding business to other partnerships.
- Empower employees - Change your lead generation to Quality not quantity and pull in thousands of more sales. Managers sit down with your employees and expand their roles and capabilities
- Follow through - Once a plan has been enacted don't just walk away. It is important to see the deal or program all the way through. Make sure your incentive program is constantly vibrant and meaningful!
GM HYBRID POWERED BUSES INCREASE FUEL EFFICIENCY IN SEATTLE
In Seattle, the local transit authority has begun taking delivery of 235 GM hybrid-powered buses, the largest single order for hybrid buses ever placed in the U.S. This single fleet is slated to save over 750,000 gallons of fuel annually, the equivalent of thousands of small hybrid cars. If nine of the largest U.S. cities replaced their 13,000 conventional buses with GM hybrid-powered buses, they would save over 40 million gallons of fuel annually. A positive impact the whole country could feel! Think of the possibilities for a better earth!
