Opened it's doors for the first time on May 22nd. 1995. Bringing a new and innovating cuisine to Los Cabos. Which is called Pacific Rim, featuring a fusion cuisine from the asian part of the pacific. Indulging their customers with exotic dishes and creative food Pitahayas gained a lot of respect from it's copetitioners.
In 1999 the restaurant received the pretigious 5 Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciencies and it is the only restuarant in Los Cabos which achieved to receive this award for the 9 consecutive year.
While Living in Hawaii Chef Volker Romeike had close encounters with a lot of different Asian foods, including Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Phillippians or Malay just to name a few. Getting to know such different but yet expressive and intense flavors he started to get interested in their use little by little, he adopted his European cooking experience to a different one and for his taste, more interesting one, namely Pacific Rim.

EDITH'S RESTAURANT, THE CUISINE OF THE BAJA PENINSULA
"...even though being in a formative stage is one of the most evident characteristics, the cuisine of the Baja Peninsula dates back, to the 17th century, when the Mission of Loreto is founded in 1697.
Seafood is the house specialty here, with fresh lobster, huge shrimp, a variety of sea bass, and other fish available. The manu does not neglect red meat, however, and includes filet mignon, T-bone and other succulent, well-prepared cuts. Mexican entrees, such as fajitas are also offered. The environment is upscale without being uptight, and features romantic candlelight and soft jazz or salsa music in the background. Unlike any other restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, Edith's Restaurant is widely known for the outstanding quality of its service. Attention to detail is an everyday habit amongst our friendly staff.

LORENZILLO'S , THE LIVE LOBSTER HOUSE SINCE 1683
The legend states that on May 18th, 1683 a pirate by the name of Lorenzillo and his companion, Agramont, went ashore at 'La Villa Rica de la Veracruz" on the gulf of Mexico, approximately 900 miles west of Cancun. The pirates had been at sea for months and were tired of eating salted fish.
Knowing that they could eat in a good restuarant in Veracruz they could not wait to go ashore. Much to the dismay of the towns people the pirates were not satisfied with the culinary delights of the restaurant, and, in retaliation, they plundered the city and killed a few members of the upper crust society. In 1979, 296 years after this merciless attack, the name of the famous Lorenzillo was hung the doorway of the first chaine of the fine restaurants offering the best selection from the seven seas. The restaurant was opened as a preventive measure to avoid repeating the history...

El Chilar has a colorful, friendly and relax atmosphere where the tradition and the modernity make a fusion of great taste. The Chef Armando Montaño every month develops a new menu, playing with different ingredients from the old Mexican cuisine with new flavors, textures and the magical touch of the chile, basic ingredient in every dish that El Chilar shows to the world.The most emblematic dish of El Chilar, is the Tlayuda oaxaqueña, a hand made big crispy corn tortilla from Oaxaca state with refried black beans, minced organic cabbage, chopped organic coriander and onion, malted Oaxaca cheese, and cascabel chile and pineapple juice with tequila and cumin marinated flank steak sliced on the top.
